The Board of Directors of the Islamic Center of the South Plains (ICSP) is currently seeking nominations for a candidate to serve on the Board. We invite all members of our community to participate in this important process by nominating individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to the growth and well-being of our community.
Nominee Qualifications:
To be considered for nomination, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• U.S. Citizenship: Nominees must be citizens of the United States.
• Community Tenure: Must have been an active member of the ICSP community for at least 15 years.
• Demonstrated Contribution: Should have a proven record of meaningful service and active involvement in various aspects of the Center’s activities—whether educational, religious, social, or organizational.
• Commitment to Advancement: Must exemplify dedication to the advancement and unity of our community, and possess the integrity, vision, and collaborative spirit needed to help guide the Center’s future.
We strongly encourage the nomination of individuals who have served selflessly, inspired others through their actions, and played a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.
How to Nominate:
Please submit the name of the nominee along with a brief description (150–300 words) outlining the nominee’s qualifications, contributions, and reasons for nomination. Nominations may be submitted by emailing to [email protected] no later than August 31, 2025.
